This class is for the very beginner. You will learn how to use basic quilting tools such as rulers, rotary cutters, and rotary mats to accurately measure and cut quilt pieces. You will use your sewing machine to accurately sew quilt pieces to the quilt batting and backing and apply the quilt binding to complete your mat. Completed mat will measure 8 1/2" X 10 1/2"
Although the supply list gives you enough to make 7 mug mats, you will only be making 1 in class. There are several design kits to choose from. Pick out your favorite set and then choose coordinating fabrics to go with it.
