Build A Quilt Sew Along - $275
Calling all quilters out there! Have we got the perfect class for you!!! Join Mary for Neal’s first ever “Build a Quilt Sew Along”, a hands-on learning experience.
Wait you say…. “I am a new kid on the block when it comes to quilting.” No problem! We got you covered!!
Wait you say…” I have been around this block a few times before.” Good for you!!! We want you, too!!!
For each of 7 consecutive months Mary will walk you through the assembly of the six unique blocks that comprise the beautiful “Christmas at Home” pattern by Lavender Lime Designs.
This is the perfect class for a beginning quilter as Mary will cover the basics of half square triangles, quarter square triangles, and quarter square half triangles along with pressing tips to make your quilt shine.
Experienced quilters are welcome to join in the fun and share your knowledge, too. No matter how long one has been quilting, there is always a new “knowledge nugget” out there to share or gather.
Every month Mary will demo how to cut, assemble, and sew each block. Once the demo is complete, it is your turn. Mary will be onsite to help should you hit a stumbling block as you build your blocks to add to each row. In seven easy months you will have completed six unique blocks and assembled the blocks into rows to reveal a completed quilt top! Best of all, the quilt top will be completed in time to showcase for the Holidays! A win/win!!
Total cost for this 7-month course is $275/per person. These fees include instruction and all the materials to make the quilt top, binding, and pattern – as well as use of Neal’s classroom/supplies.
Each participant will need to furnish their own sewing machine, rotary cutter, rulers, scissors, pin/clips, and a seam ripper. To avoid any confusion, please be sure to label your supplies with your name.
Class size is limited to 6 participants and will meet from 10am to 4pm on the following Wednesdays in 2024: April 24: May 22: June 19: July 24: August 21: September 18: and October 23.
