Welcome to Open Sew @ Neal’s.  Open Sew is an opportunity for you to pack up your sewing machine and join the staff at Neal’s for a day of sewing at the store.  Think of it as a self-directed retreat!  Get out of the house, sew uninterrupted for several hours – or all day, it is your choice.  Knock out some of those UFOs that have been gathering dust in the closet.  Make some real progress on your sewing/embroidery projects. 

Neal’s will provide the facilities - cutting tables, mats, rotary cutters, ironing board and irons, design wall, and space to spread out.  Plus, you will have the entire store inventory at your fingertips should you need to restock your sewing supplies.  Come as one and sit up front in the workshop with the staff – or come as many and take over the classroom space in the back of the store. Classroom rental fees are $10/day per person.  All participants receive a $10 discount on all regularly priced in stock purchases of $20 or more the day of your Open Sew event. 

Neal’s staff members are available to answer questions, if needed, but “Open Sewers” should come prepared to work independently as walk-in customers will take priority.

Call your friends and start your own private sewing circle.  Open Sew Classroom seating is limited to 6 people, so please call to reserve your date and hold your space.  Neal’s will provide coffee, a microwave, a refrigerator, and downtown restaurant menus for your convenience.
