| Neal's Vacuum & Sewing Centers Fall Sewing Retreat |
Wouldn't you just love to have 3 days to just sew? No meals to fix?
No rooms to clean? No groceries to shop for? Then you won't want
to miss this! This retreat is the perfect time to get that Christmas
sewing started. Or if you are really good.... finished!
Come to the Neal's Sewing Retreat and spend time with fellow
sewing enthusiasts and bring any projects you want to work on. This
is a great time to get out those PIGS. Projects In Grocery Sacks.
You will actually get them finished. Or maybe you have a new project
you want to start but haven't found the time. The time is now. There
will be a Neal's staff member there at all times ready to answer
questions.
The retreat will begin Thursday noon and run through Sunday noon.
Meals will be provided for Thursday night dinner...Friday and
Saturday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner....and Sunday breakfast. That
will leave you free to just sew! Although meals will be provided you
are more than welcome to bring any kind of snacks or food you would
like.
The retreat will be at the picturesque Spring Valley Bible Camp in it’s
newly built dorms and great room. Centrally located just 3 miles north
of Muscatine between Hiways 38 & 61 on 180th St (County Rd G14)
it is convenient enough you could go home each night if you like.
There will be bunk beds and of course showers available for those
who want to stay, at no extra charge. Then you can sew any time you
like as late as you like or as early as you like. Doesn't that sound like
heaven?
Or maybe you would like to spend some time sitting by the fire
roasting marshmallows. You can do that too.
Doesn't that sound like heaven? But wait there's more..... we are
planning a make-it take-it project that will run throughout the weekend.

All Roads Lead to Spring Valley Bible Camp
From Davenport; approximately 26 miles from downtown.
From anywhere in the Quad Cities, take Hiway 61 South towards
Muscatine. Before getting to Ripley's Trailer Court you will see a sign
for Spring Valley Bible Camp turn right on Y-14. Then about 1/2 mile
turn left on 180th Street. The camp will be on your left.
From Illinois
Take Interstate 280 west toward Des Moines. After crossing the
Mississippi take the 2nd exit to get on Highway 61. Turn left to head
west. Stay on Highway 61 towards Muscatine. Before getting to
Ripley's Trailer Court you will see a sign for Spring Valley Bible
Camp turn right on Y-14. Then about 1/2 mile turn left on 180th
Street. The camp will be on your left.
From Muscatine; approximately 3 miles
Take Highway 38 north of Muscatine approximately 3 miles. You will
see a sign for Spring Valley Bible Camp. Turn right on 180th St and
watch for signs the camp will be on your right.
