Stockings for the Troops
On Wednesday, July 7 we appeared  on Paula Sands to promote our Bring Your
Grandkids to Neal's day on Sat., July 10 where we were inviting Grandparents to
bring their Grandchildren in to make a stocking for a soldier overseas.  This is a
part of our ongoing charity sewing we do at Neal's.  Check out
Upcoming Events to
get more details.
Halloween
On Friday, October 22 we appeared on Paula Sands with Halloween costumes as well as a
segment on making a chair cover for Halloween and little spider web umbrellas.  You can get the
directions for both these things in the store.  To make the umbrellas you will need an embroidery
machine and the design.  Please ask for the design when you come into the store.  For more free
projects to make for Halloween or anytime, go to
www.babylock.com and click on projects.
Christmas Stocking Addendum
We were fortunate enough that one of our sewing angels hand
delivered a large quantity of the stockings made here at Neal's to Fort
Campbell, Kentucky where they will be filled by the wives and loved
ones and then shipped to the soldiers stationed in Afghanistan.  We
wanted to share some pictures of this "special delivery"
There have been 3 different loads delivered to Fort Campbell.  The family members
are very appreciative of the work done by all our sewing angels.  Good work ladies!!!!

On January 6 we appeared on Paula Sands to showcase new
hobbies for 2012.  Of course we talked about sewing and 2 of
the hottest trends in sewing.  Purses and scarves.  One of the
biggest hits was the zipper purse shown on the left.  The
instructions for this purse are in the book by Mary Mulari.  If you
would like more information we have a class to learn how to
make them.  Just go to
classes
We also discussed the easy scarves that are all the rage and
so great for winter made out of our fun furs and cuddle fabrics.
For more information on scarves and fabulous fun fur fabrics,
